the sunshine holds so much promise

i'm eating some frozen blueberries...
my fingers are stained purple...
and i'm thinking about the summer.
both the future and the past.
i spent the weekend with some of my dearest friends
and i realized...i feel more like myself when i'm with them.
they are my community...my family.
and i thank God every day that he so perfectly placed each of them in my life.
