1. i purchased a red stocking cap today. i'm pretty excited about it. i think it will contrast well with the gray skies that are relatively common here in indiana.
2. i did my laundry yesterday. and about half of it is still sitting in my laundry bag. clean, unfolded, and now wrinkly. my motivation is obvious.
3. yesterday, i got an ikea catalog in the mail. i found the bed frame i want for next year. guess i won't be asking my grandpa to help me make one.

15. i would like to buy a fisheye camera (there's a real neat green one on urbanoutfitters.com)
16. i miss my friend erica. and i don't enjoy the fact that she lives in virginia.
17. i cannot wait until it gets warm, i really want to take a stroll around a zoo.
18. my roommate and i were ridiculous today...and watched the extended edition of the two towers...
19. i can't wait for spring break...and getting to make breakfast for my sister before she heads to school.
20. you should listen to israel kamakawiwo'ole's version of "somewhere over the rainbow". i promise you won't regret it.
21. spring break is so close. i'm so excited about this..so many possibilities.
22. i'm going to make another attempt at granola over break. yay.
23. i'm in the mood for a "treasure mart" visit.
24. flannel shirts. one of the greatest things since cupcakes. i can't seem to find a decently priced one...i guess it's off to goodwill.
25. speaking of goodwill...maybe they'll have some great mugs. that would be wonderful.
26. i don't like capital letters.

there are some days where i feel like i could just put the garden state soundtrack on repeat and be totally content with listening to it all day.
i've been eagerly anticipating mail from a friend for a few days now...
the postal service is proving to once again be an skilled tester of my patience.
i'm sitting on the floor...and i can easily say that i prefer the floor to chairs.
i don't know what it is...
i recently stumbled across jeremy larson's music...
and oh my word..you should probably intentionally stumble across it now as well.
he's wonderful.
almost as wonderful as last week's sneak attack of warm weather.
it made me yearn for spring.

ooofff. today's a soggy day.
i'm in the mood for some blueberry tea.
but i don't have any...i know who would...
and i miss him dearly.
i had every intention of making valentines this year.
but alas... i did not.
like so many other things i intend to do.
next year, next year.
my heart is still fluttering from something a friend told me last week.
yes, i'm surprised it's lasted this long too.
i'm sitting at my desk right now.
research in front of me, documents minimized.
deadline ahead of me.
and i'm still not feeling the need to write this. ridiculous.
i thoroughly enjoy writing letters to people.
i need to get in the habit of doing that more often..
i seem to be better at telling others how i feel when i write it down.
i should find a pen-pal.
i skipped accounting today.
and spent my time in the library.
reading a book i've been meaning to start.
it was wonderful. i should skip more often?....probably not.
i like the way windows look when they're covered in water droplets.
mmmmhhhmmm.
i've listened to rufus wainwright's version of "broken hallelujah" 5 times in the past hour.
it's lovely.

just wait until you see it full...you'll be just as excited as i am.
i've also been on a bit of a rampage, window shopping for stuff for the house next year.
mainly stuff for the kitchen, but there have been a few other house items thrown in there.
like these darling stackable mugs...
these coffee mugs would most likely be used to eat cereal out of much more often than for drinking coffee or tea, but the colors are just too appealing to not purchase. and the stacking? i mean, does it get any better?
i think not.
yes, this will probably be my next purchase.
eeeekkkkk!

lusciously beautiful. unmistakably love.
what a weekend of excitement and love.
plans to go to indy friday night were put on hold until this weekend, so that left me available to go to girls' night with my house church girls.
it was wonderful.
we went to the new concannon's, enjoyed numerous free samples and then headed back to stephanie's for an extended amount of ridiculousness.
saturday brought with it the excitement of heading to purdue and spending time with people who make my heart dance.
i finally got to experience greyhouse coffee (the new coffee house that campus house opened) and oh, was it wonderful! it filled me with hopes of what the bakery i dream of opening someday will resemble. it also made me curious as to the possibility of the revolution opening up something similar...hmm...maybe i'll talk to carl.
the greatest part of my trip was dinner with my wonderful friend Lexie, who was overflowing with the joy of wedding plans and love. ohhhhh i'm so excited for july 24th...there's no way i'm not going to this wedding, i'll just have to skip out of LT for a few days.
time stopped for a bit when i realized i wasn't going to be in indiana during her wedding, that iwll most definitely have to change.
i played scrabble for the first time this weekend.
hmmm...surprisingly i enjoyed this game.
whipping out "bologna" and "coyote" made me feel like a big deal.
ha. right.
i think i may just have to purchase scrabble...
hmmm.
on that note...
i'm kind of in the mood for some mt cup..maybe that's what i'll do with my afternoon.
